A Melody in the Sea

Drew smiled and waved to the crowd as did his pokemon dodging the moves with a cool side roll they all then ran off the stage and into the waiting room he looked to the screen and saw it was Melody's turn.

Kimberly walked out onto the field and threw up two pokeball's which had a Magmortar and an Electivire emerge landing on the field as flames and lightning bolts came from the pokeball. Kimberly awaited the host who said "3...2...1...Battle" and Kimberly nodded to her pokemon figuring it would be best for her to get the first move in, as Magmortar ran down the field alongside Electivire before standing back to back and using Fire blast at Sparky whilst Electivire used Thunder on Vix both dancing as their moves flew through the air with them dancing aswell majestically moving to the cheers of the crowd.

Vix leaped dodging Thunder and landed in front of Sparky, taking the Fire Blast, and since Vix had Flash Fire, she began to glow red beautifully. Sparky hopped on Vix's back and used Volt Tackle, making Vix use it as Sparky was not moving. Then Vix used Flare Blitz, causing the electricity and flames to spin around Vix. They were aiming to hit both Pokemon, as they would hit one then turn and hit the other. The move was also extra- powerful due to Flash Fire boosting Flare Blitz.

Luna smiles watching the two battle. she doesn't know exactly how will win, but she hopes and thinks that Melody wins, and she thought it would be great to see Drew and Melody, fae to face, as they both seemed liked amazing coordinators, and couldn't decide which was better. She also wanted to have a battle with Drew, as he seemed to be winning by not raw battling, but making his opponent look bad and his Pokemon look good, and wanted to know how good he was. She sent out Mew, and began stroking it. It looked down at Melody and Kim, and said, "Mew?" as if he was confused with what was happening.
"That's called a Pokemon cntest batle Mew. The opponent looses if their Pokemon faint, or if they run out of points, or if time is up and they have the least points. The opponent looses points if you make their Pokemon bad or your Pokemon look good," Luna explained.
"Mew," Mew said in acknowledgement.

The duo of pokemon rolled aside standing either side as Vix ran through and used another Thunder and Fire Blast combo to try and hit Vix on her side.

Vix spun through the middle of the two moves making the spinning electricity and fire a lot stronger as she headed back to them.

Luna smiled and thought this was a good plan, but was unsure if Vix would be able to hit them as they seemed quite fast.

Electivire leapt up and tried landing on top of Vix taking damage from the attack but withstanding it and hoping to then use a direct Thunderbolt to Vix' skull. Magmortar ran straight at Sparky and drew back his cannon fist going to use Fire punch but spinning his fist and changing it to a Fire Blast to confuse Sparky.

Sparky jumped off Vix's back, and Vix did a front flip with a Flamethrower to throw Electivire off and use a variation of Flame Wheel heading for Electivire. Sparky used Thunder Punch on the sphere of fire from Fire Blast and it turned into scarlet sparkles. Then he used Thunderbolt and Atract to make a bolt of electricity surrounded with hearts (just for show) heading for Magmortar. Then Melody looked at the scores and time.

Magmortar leapt in front of Electivire and stuck out the cannon Vix going to get wedged in it. Electivire then ran at Sparky and aimed to use another Thunder attack at him.

Vix leapt up and bounced on Magmortar's head and slammed down on Electivire. Then Pichu used the same Atract Thunderbolt attack to try and make it collide with Thunder.

Thunder though was too strong and fought back the thunderbolts and attract so, it kept on course hitting Pichu. Magmortar threw up his Cannon again and Vix slammed into it instead before Magmortar used another Fire Blast on Vix except stronger than her Flash Fire would be able to take.

But once again, Flash Fire absorbs the power, and Vix lands on her feat unharmed (There is no move more powerful than Flash Fire I'm afraid). Sparky spun and used Volt Tackle through the Thunder, powering up his atack by absolute tons and making it a pretty easy hit. Vix then used Extrasensory on Magmortar.

Electivire was hit and stumbled back but grabbed Sparky in his hands using Fire Punch with both hands. Magmortar was also hit but instead used a Thunder Punch on Vix.

But just when Vix was about to get hit, the effects came in. Vix started appearing in different places, and Magmortar got very dizzy, and hit the Vix, as it was just a hallucination. As soon as Sparky was grabbed, he used Volt Tackle to run up Electivire's belly and back flipped off, before continuing the Volt Tackle at Magmortar taking advantage of the Extrasensory.

Magmortar rolled aside as the effect faded and used another Fire Blast on Sparky's side expecting it to hit cause it was surely unexpected. Electivire then used Thunder again which flew across the field dancing as it went and was aimed at Vix.
The score was Melody almost a full circle, Kimberly only had a third of a circle left and it was worrying there was only 30 seconds left though. (one more go each)

But Melody smiled as she had trained her Pokemon to be alert and they both easily dodged. Then Sparky jumped on Vix's back and Used Attract while Vix used Flare Blitz the make a Flare Blitz with spinning hearts, and since both a male and female were using the attack, the Pokemon that was hit would fall in love with one of them.

Luna was surprised at how much Melody was ahead, and was almost certain that Melody and Drew would be battling, and this made her excited, but as always she remained calm, and didn't freak out about how much she wanted to see them battle. She sensed a spark between the two, as if they were destined to be friends. And it seemed Mew sensed it too.

Both moves were dodged and they used a final desperate attempt with another Lightning Blast combo. (You know what moves their regulars except together) Which danced through the air spinning in the yellow and red mixture of whirling colors.

They leapt out of the way, and then time was up.

"And the winner is ____! Congratulations!"

Drew had watched the battle carefully and closely and had already got Melody's battle style down to a tee as he awaited the final round where he'd face off against her.

Melody paced onto the stage and held two Pokeballs in her hands with heart seals on. She threw them calling out Blue and Vix.

Drew also paced onto the stage throwing up Electro and Tyson's pokeball's as they came out in lightning and hearts spinning to the ground where Drew looked to the Host who shouted "3.... 2.... 1.... Battle" and Electro launched at Blue with a Spark attack whilst Tyson protected Electro to prevent Vix jumping in to help and stop it by using a Succession of Rock Throw attacks the duo's teamwork would clearly shine through.

But then Blue used Ice Beam on Vix, and Vix kicked it with her back feet sending it back at Blue, and Spark did no damage whatsoever as all it did was break the ice. Then Blue used Ice Beam on Vix as she used Flare Blitz to make a large shard of ice glow redb and it was headed at Electro. Blue used Dragon Rush on Tyson.

Tyson dodged it diving to the side and used another Rock Throw to Blue's Back and then Electro leapt up at the Shard of ice landing on it Vix frozen in it unable to stop Electro he used Quick Spark.

Vix smirked and used Flamethrower inside the ice causing flames to burst out when Electro was near enough. Blue simply barrel rolled out of the way floating effortlessly as she did. Then she spun and used Ice Beam, and if a hit it would encase Tyson in a cocoon of ice.

Electro dodged the flamethrower as Tyson smiled and jumped with a side flip using Low Kick which hit the side of the Ice beam re-directing it to Electro who in turn used Quick attack hitting it re-directing it back to Blue in a Triangular return fire fashion making it look beautiful and effortless when doing so. Electro then leapt with a backflip and used a Quick Spark Drill where Electro span at high speed using Spark acting as a drill and moving at almost invisible speeds due to the velocity and gravity factors all you could see was a beautiful yellow light dashing appearing to dance around the arena before heading at Vix with the built up speed full speed adding to the power of the move.

Vix side stepped in a dance like maneuver causing Electro to head for the cold, hard ground. Blue once again floated gently like a cloud, and looking cute while doing so. Then she picked Vix up and used Sing while Vix used Flamethrower causing beautiful glowing flames to head for the Pokemon while musical notes danced around it, and they also spun making it spread all across the stadium, Blue added in an ice beam dissolving on the flames and causing blue sparkles, while Drew's Pokemon were hidden inside the twisting flames possibly getting hurt unless they came up with a strategy, but the flames, sparkles and notes were everywhere; high and low and spread all around the stadium, the only things not effected were the audience as it was not high enough to damage them, but was just low enough not to so that Drew's Pokemon had a minimum chance of escaping. Beautiful flames lit up the contest hall and beautiful singing could be heard making audience want to dance, but if they hit Drew's Pokemon they would fall asleep. And if this wasn't beautiful enough, blue sparkles from Ice beam danced gently around the stadium.

Luna was amazed at this move, although wasn't sure if Drew might be able to get out, even though it would be very very hard.

Electro quickly changed direction keeping up the move and sneaking carefully out of the flames via the back unseen heading towards Blue to hit Blue's back hopefully knocking Blue flying into the flames whilst Tyson also escaped the back way with quick backwards handsprings and using a Rock throw attack silently at Vix their smartness shining through clearly.
