On the road at last!

The sun sat high in the sky, warming the earth below to make the air a very comfortable afternoon. A flock of Pidgey rustled in the trees, then flapped their wings and took off into the sky. What a day to begin a journey! Just outside route one, a new trainer stopped and stared down the tall grass. Pulling her dark green hair back into a pony tail, she grabbed the one pokeball that was occupied and opened it to show her partner: a male Squirtle she'd named Caine.
With a smiled she picked up the small turtle as he began to look around with a wonderous look on his small blue face.
"What do you think Caine? Do you like the outside so far?"
"Suqirtle! Squirt Squirt Squirtle!!"
Hazel laughed softly and nodded, stepping into the tall grass.
"Alright, let's find us our first teammate!"

Something tugged at her leg.

As they walked through the grass Hazel felt a tug at her leg. She quickly turned to see what in Arceus name it was.

It was a small Eevee.

Seeing the small Eevee Hazel nearly jumped out of her skin, her face in total shock.
"H-holy Arceus!!"
She cried out, but then quickly recovered and tried to not scare the little thing off.
"Hi there buddy, what are you doing all the way out here? You're definately not common around these parts, you're a really rare one. I'm Hazel, and this is Caine."
"Suqirtle! Squirtle Squirt!!"
