Breeding Hearts (cont.)

Jade stepped into the city, glancing around.. perhaps she would run into an old friend, one of the few good things about traveling constantly, you had a tendency of making a few friends along the way. She was surprised that she didn't see anybody.. in fact, the streets seemed to be completely empty "hmm.. that's odd, I wonder where everybody is"

She walked towards the day care center and tried to open the door, but it was locked, she frowned "well.. it's the middle of the day, he shouldn't be closing his shop" she knocked on the door briefly "hello, is anyone there.. it's me, Jade"

Worried talking could be heard from inside. Jake suddenly heard loud barking and a second later she was let in.

"Jade! Nice to see you! Get inside quickly!" the lady said pulling Jade in and lcking the door.

"Jade, no matter what you must stay indoors. There is a pack of Houndoom storming the streets mindlessly, and if they see you they will attack," she explained.

Jade could hear the worries whispering, including a familiar voice, she was about to say something else before the door was opened and she was pulled inside. Lucky ran inside after her before the door could close, looking worried as well.

She frowned as she was told what was going on "Houndoom? How many are in the pack?" she asked, she glanced around, she could see all the pokemon that were under the care of the people here were hiding, some of them looked like there weren't doing so well. "Jack.." she said moving towards a Charmander whose tail was burning dimly "how long have you been stuck in here.." she pulled her pack out and immidiately began unloading medicine and other things that would be needed.

"Four Houndoom are in ther pack. Each incredibly powerful alone, and together well, only Arceus really could defeat them *giggles slightly then goes serious again*. They attackedpoor Jack and a few villagers, and now they're headed for the farm. We think that they'll burn our crops! Officer Jenny is looking for trainers to battle the pack but they are all way too scared. Wait you're a trainer right? Will you help us?" she asked.

Jade was now giving out berries and other healing aids to each of the pokemon.. there was already a difference in each of them, she smiled "there.. that's better" she was listening, glancing over her shoulder towards the girl. "Four? oh my.." she bit her lip, standing and turning to them.

"I.. I'm not a trainer.. I'm a breeder. I don't think any of my pokemon would be strong enough to take them.." she glanced down to Lucky. She was frowning but she nodded "alright.. I think we can come up with something.. I know it's dangerous but I'm going to need everybodies help.. is there a way to get a message throughout the town?" she asked looking around at them.

"Try if you want but they are ever so stuborn. You can use my husband's Noctowl to bring messages to people. And if you are going to battle with them then you should take this, it is my Pokemon, but be careful with it. I love it more than the whole wide world and it's exceptionally rare," she said handing her a Pokeball.

"And if you're going to try the messages, you'd better start writing straight away!" she added.

"I don't think I can battle them.. but perhaps we can trap them long enough to move them someplace where they would be less destructive.. in my travels I found a place where a lot of wild fire pokemon lived and they were happy. I found some of these there, these Houndooms. If we can find a way to catch them, we can transport them there. We'll need something to trap them in, something that's fireproof.. and also.. all the water pokemon you can find.. the bigger the better. I know that if one trainer tries to go up against them they'll lose.. but if we can get them to a trap of some sort.. then we can get them out of here"

She had seen strong fire pokemon back away from water pokemon.. if they could find enough water pokemon, they could get the Houndooms to go to where they want. She took a paper and drew out a map of the city, looking over to Jack "do you know what we could catch them in?"

"I have a Butterfree that knows String Shot, but they might be able to destroy it. And Water won't work. We tried using the Gyarados that belongs to Jason, the strongest traioner here, and it's still at the Pokemon Center from the battle. One Fire Blast almost burned him to ashes," she said.

Jack shook his head.

"that was one pokemon.. but if every pokemon rose up against it.. and trainer.. then, maybe the numbers will be enough to back them off"

We could try it. *looks out the window* They are at the hot springs, they are resting in the boiling water, and they are right next to the feilds. Send the message for water Pokemon telling them to send them to the hot springs. Maybe they'll meet friends in this place you speak of.

"we'll need every water and rock pokemon possible.. any of them from here" she pulled out her pokeball and closed her eyes as she pulled out her horsea "I'm so sorry about this Snip.. but we need every water pokemon and rock pokemon possible.. are you up for it" the little horsea puffed out his chest proudly "sea sea!" he said to show he could handle it "Jack I know you have pokemon here.. every water and rock pokemon possible we need them"

She looked at the springs on the map "there are four different opening to the springs, that's perfect.. if we every pokemon head in from every direction we'll have them surrounded and backed into a corner. You said you had a butterfree.. can you use it to put the Houndoom to sleep? They'll be too busy trying to fight off all the water and rock pokemon to notice a butterfree.. once their asleep we'll be able to catch them and move them"

She was already writing out a letter for every person in the city. She walked over to the Noctowl "fly high enough that they don't see you and make sure EVERY person in the city gets this" the pokemon nodded before taking off. Lucky was tugging on Jade's shirt "what is it Lucky" the pokemon would talk and then point towards the pokecenter, Jade bit her lip "I don't know Lucky.. we can go after we get rid of the Houndooms can't we?" Lucky shook her head and pointed to herself "you want to go before me to help out?" Lucky nodded, Jade had to fight back tears before she scooped the Chancey into her arms hugging her tightly "you be careful" she said

"Right! Butterfree, let's whip their buts just like back when i was a trainer!" she said.

"Butterfree!" she replied enthusiastically.

"John, use your Golem and Huntail, and I'll use my Gorebyss too!" she said.

Noctowl flew throughout the city delivering the letters.

She watched as all the different pokemon were let out from their balls, she went through the day care looking for others, coming across a Squirtle and a Staryu. "you two.. you can help can't you?" the two looked at each other, but nodded before running forward to join the crowd of pokemon.

Time passed, about half an hour later the Noctowl came back with the response.. it seemed that every person was on board and were lending their pokemon for this cause. "Okay.. they're going to let their pokemon go in exactly five minutes.. we need to let ours out at the exact same time.. the water and rock pokemon need to go first, the butterfree will go last.. we need to make sure the Houndoom is good and preoccupied."

"Sounds like a good plan Jade," she replied.

"But before you go, my 'special' Pokemon that I told you about can help. No one knows that I have it, but you will need it,"

She took a Pokeball from inside her vault and let it out. It was a Suicune. She returned it and gave it to Jade.

"Please, take good care of it. It means everything in the world to me," she said.

"wow.. how beautiful" she took the pokeball and nodded "of course I'll take care of it, I promise" she touched the woman on her shoulder and smiled "don't worry.. I'll be back" she reached into her bag for a second and pulled out her remaining pokeball, releasing Venonat, she knelt down and hugged him "I'll be back soon Lenny, you be brave and take care of everyone here alright?" she smiled and kissed the bug pokemon on the head before standing taking her bag.

"Alright all pokemon who are coming.. lets head out" she waited for all the water and rock pokemon to exit before following "keep the doors locked.. I'll be back soon" she promised, closing the door behind her and running after the group. She gaped as she saw just how many water and rock pokemon the town had to offer "wow.. this is amazing" she watched as the Pokemon charged the hotsprings from every direction. She called out "Now everyone, we need waterguns full blast.. rock throws too all at the same time, make sure their distracted and can't move. The water was like a constant turrent directly on all four Houndoom, it would be hard for them to move at all and what little movement was dodging boulders that were being flung at them.

The Houndoom staggered and their rages grew greater by the nanosecond. They then all unleashed a powerful Dark Pulse in every direction that was simply destroyed by the water and the water continued to blast at them. Then Butterfree flew down next to Jade hovering about a quarter of a foot from the ground awaiting the signal.

Jade held her ground, watching as every water and rock pokemon overwhelmed the Houndoom "alright Butterfree, you ready?" she held for just another second before going "alright now! Put them to sleep!" she called.

Butterfree was in the air with a quick beat of her wings and she swooped down over the Houndoom using Sleep Powder before returning to Jade's side. The Houndoom fell to the ground in sleep.

"okay great job everyone!! Now we just need a way to tie them down and get them out of here.. we need a big flying pokemon"

"Free! Free!" Butterfree said letting a bit of String Shot out of her mouth showing that she could do it.

Jade smiled "do it Butterfree" she stated with a nod as people began slowly coming out of their houses and other businesses when they realized that the water pokemon had actually managed the job. She heard a voice behind her "you said you needed a big flying pokemon, right?" Glancing behind her, she spotted a woman who had stepped a little closer "I have a Charizard you can use" Jade would smile "that would be great, with him and Butterfree it'll be easy work to move them to a safer location"

Butterfree smiles and they both fly up. Butterfree ties him up and Charizard bet his wngs slowly blowing them away.

Jade moved quickly, mounting onto Charizard "I'm not too heavy for you am I?" she asked before allowing Charizard to take off, Jade held on tightly but showed no fear as they took to the sky. She gave both Butterfree and Charizard the directions to the safe place where other Houndoom could be found before they would make it back safe and sound to Fuschia City.

The girl jumped off of the Charizard to a great noise from all the pokemon who were celebrating the freedom they had been missing. "Everybody, the Houndoom are gone! It is safe to come out again!" she called out.

The townspeople opened their doors, peaked out and sighed fro relief. They had street parties all day until night.

Jade found Snip and smiled at the little guy proudly, all of his efforts had actually gotten him to level up (if you don't mind xD) and he was feeling pretty good about himself. "Alright, I think that's enough excitement for you, let's go get Lenny and then we'll head to the pokecenter to find Lucky" the little horsea squeeled at the idea before going back into his pokeball.

She made her way to the daycare once again, stepping in and smiling "it's all taken care of.. oh yeah.. I almost forgot.. I wanted to know if you had any pokemon who needed a good home. You know I find people looking for good pokemon all over the place" She knelt down as she spoke as her Venonat had come to her side, picking him up. "hey Lenny" she looked back to the owner waiting for the reply.
