Chloe has found that she prefers to use a defensive strategy, having her pokemon dodge or simply counter attacks, she finds that this is more likely to tire out the attacking pokemon, occassionally adding a poison attack or something else to slow down the other pokemon before attacking. She is still rather new at battling and has still yet to perfect her battle style, and sometimes she worries more about the pokemon than the battle, creating a weakness.

Personality:
Chloe likes to put other's before herself, she would be the most likely to stop and help another who was in need but would expect nothing in return. She gives the pokemon under her care plenty of love and affection and can sometimes be a little overprotective of them. She gets along with most kinds of people, but finds it difficult to stand up for herself when others aren't being nice. Chloe had a real hard time deciding what she wanted to do with her life, and she still isn't entirely sure, but believes that the traveling of a trainer would do her good. She always stands up for what she believes is right.

History:
Chloe grew up just outside of Cerulean City with her father, Jason King, who at the time worked for Professor Oak. He was on the constant look out for new breeds of pokemon, sometimes breeding the more rare himself to see if a new breed would develop. Over time he found that the beautiful pokemon he would breed and care for were gaining a great amount of attention and interest. He never came up with any new breeds but found that he was quite talented at successfully breeding same breed pokemon. He would allow the pokemon to mature slightly before offering them to sell at a fair price, most of his pokemon were sold as pets. As Chloe got older the two of them moved to Celadon City and opened an actual shop, finding that people were willing to travel from cities and towns all over to purchase his well bred young pokemon.
Chloe enjoyed her father's work and would help out often, but she found her true interest when one of their higher priced pokemon managed to escape her father's grip and run out the back door. The little Vulpix ran right into a mud puddle that had formed due to rain just the day before and wound up getting herself stuck. Chloe came to the rescue, gathering the creature out of the mud and taking her back inside. They decided that it would be impossible to sell her while she was covered in mud, so Chloe volunteered to give her a bath and clean her up a bit. The process wound up taking longer than expected because once the bath was through, Chloe ran a brush through the Vulpix' hair and managed to make the coat look more shiny and healthy than ever before. Her father was paid twice the origional value because of how beautiful the Vulpix looked, and Chloe began doing this for every pokemon they were looking to sell.
Origionally Chloe was going to go into business for herself as a pokemon groomer, for those who owned their pokemon as pets but the older she got the more restless she became. Finally, she decided that she wanted to travel as a pokemon trainer and learn everything she could before she agreed to settle into any one profession. Her father allowed her to pick from one of their selling pokemon to begin with, he suggested a Vulpix for it's strength, but she chose an Eevee that she had already grown attached to.
