Pallet Town Beginnings

Luna gasped at the hug, and then accepted it.

"That's great news!"

"yeah" she said happily

"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted a traveling companion to Sinnoh.. I'm sure Eevee could use the travel time and I'd love to watch the competition." She said happily.

"Sure!" agreed Luna.

She went to gather her things, coming back and asking Luna for her pokemon "thank you so much for watching them for me" she said, sliding the balls into her pack before going out and gathering up her Eevee

"you can keep sleeping Eevee, we got a ways to travel anyway"

Luna walked outside thanking Nurse Joy for letting her stay before leaving.

"So will we take the boat, or a Pokemon?"

Chloe's face turned slightly at the idea of flying, it had been fun but she wasn't sure if she'd have the courage to do it again. "where's the boat?" she asked curiously wondering if they'd have to travel to that.

"Well at the coast of course," she laughed.

"It will be quite a long journey, but we could always just ride on one of my Pokemon there," she said.

"Or we could walk, but it's quite a long way, about an hour at least it would take, and about six or seven miles," she added.

"hmm" she glanced down to Eevee and then back "it won't tire your pokemon out to carry us all that way?" she smiled slightly "I'm okay with however you want to get there" she decided

"I know! Go Articuno! Use Ice Beam!" she said.

Articuno made a chariot shape out of ice.

"Thanks return!"

"Go Latias!"

"Go Mew!"

Mew maid reins of psychic energy attached to Latias. He was then returned. Luna sat down on it thinking that being in a chariot would be more comfortable for her.

Chloe watched in awe as her pokemon worked "wow.. how beautiful" she commented, slowly climbing up onto the chariot, she turned her attention to the mew "you have a mew" she giggled at the cute little pink creature.

She glanced down to the little Eevee who was still fast asleep in her arms and sighed "I suppose sleep is good for her" she smiled and ran her hand along one of Eevee's ears lovingly.

Luna smiled and said, "So will we fly all the way r just to the dock?"

The chariot took off, not flying too high or too fast.

The chariott made the trip entirely tollerable, she didn't mind the height at all and even decided to let her Beautifly out so that she could fly beside them "there, get some excersize" she said with a loving smile, her other pokemon was too big to take out of his ball.

"As long as it doesn't tire them out, we might as well fly all the way" she stated.

"No need to worry. I have lots of Pokemon that can fly," she said smiling.

"You're doing a great job Latias! If you're feeling tired just tell me!"

"great" she said with another smile, stealing a glance over the edge every now and then.. it wasn't nearly as scary as riding on the pokemon's back. She petted Eevee gently "hey, how you doing girl?" she asked.

Eevee smiled back at her.

Chloe beemed at the response happily, watching as her Beautifly soared around them. "So where did you hear about his competition, she asked curiously.

Some guy was talking about it. His name was Drew.

"I wonder if Eevee would be up for trying?" she glanced down to her little pokemon and smiled.. "of course it would just as fun to watch.. I'm not sure if they're leveled up enough for something like that"

"That's okay, remember people will probably have Pokemon even weaker than yours. You could gain experience that way. But of course don't push yourself into this contest, it's your choice," said Luna.

"well.. I do have Gyardos if I really need him, it's really up to Eevee and Beauty.. what do you think guys?" she asked, glancing down to her Eevee and back to her Beautifly that was still flying beside them happily.

If they agreed then the look on her face would turn to that of determination "we'll do our best then!" she vowed to no one in particular.

They nodded in agrrement.

"Wait does that mean we'll be fighting against each other?" She asked her friend.

"Well yes, but try to think of it that you're fighting with them,"

Nodded at the thought "yes.. I suppose that would work.." she glanced over the edge of the chariot curiously and gasped when she realized they were flying over the water now.

"Are you okay? Sometimes I get scared of flying over water too. Think of it this way, if we do fall Latias would notice, and probably save us. Don't look down either,"
